News DeskDubai, UAE – In a new significant achievement, Keolis MHI Rail Management and Operations LLC, the operator of Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram, proudly celebrates a national success as two Emirati talents from its team have been recognized at the Nafis Awards 2025 – one of the UAE’s most prestigious national programs honoring exceptional Emirati professionals in the private sector.
Hamad Al Shehhi, Operation Control Center Senior Controller, earned first place in the Specialized Jobs category, in recognition of his outstanding professional performance and his contribution to advancing monitoring and operational systems within Keolis MHI.
Meanwhile, Eng. Maryam Al Marzooqi achieved third place in the Engineering Jobs category, honoring her distinguished performance and contributions to enhancing the company’s technical and engineering systems.
This recognition by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) highlights Keolis MHI’s continued success in Emiratisation and reaffirms its commitment to empowering national talent in alignment with the UAE Government’s vision to strengthen the competitiveness of Emirati professionals in the private sector.
In 2024, Keolis MHI reaffirmed its dedication to developing Emirati talent by promoting 24 UAE Nationals to senior positions. The company’s Emiratisation achievements go beyond promotions – Emirati women now represent 56% of its total national workforce and 21% of senior leadership positions, highlighting Keolis MHI’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment across all levels of the organization.
