Dubai, UAE: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai drew strong interest on the opening day of the Dubai Airshow 2025, as it showcased a suite of advanced digital solutions designed to enhance the travel and residency experience for visitors and residents alike.
Senior officials, led by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, toured the organisation’s interactive pavilion at Dubai World Central. He was accompanied by Major General Obaid Mehayer Bin Suroor, Deputy Director General, and Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shinqiti, Assistant Director General for the Air Ports Sector.

The delegation reviewed a comprehensive range of smart services and platforms on display, including the Golden Visa services, Command and Control Platform, Salama Digital Platform, Platform 04, the newly launched GCC Resident Visa, the VIP-focused Smart Corridor (Red Carpet), and the Tourist Happiness Card, all of which are positioned as part of Dubai’s expanding digital ecosystem.
Lt. Gen. Al Marri said the GDRFA’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting Dubai’s vision of seamless, technology-driven government services.

“Our participation in the Dubai Airshow comes as part of our vision to provide advanced digital services that support the visitor’s journey from the moment they arrive in Dubai,” he said. “We are committed to ensuring our services align with the emirate’s aspirations and strategies, and to delivering an experience that reflects Dubai’s value as a global city that places innovation at the core of government development.”
Visitors to the pavilion engaged with a range of immersive, interactive demonstrations that highlighted the future of smart government operations—particularly those designed to simplify travel procedures, improve investor experiences, and elevate overall quality of life in Dubai.

GDRFA Dubai’s presence at the Airshow is part of a broader institutional strategy to strengthen its footprint at major international events and underscore Dubai’s standing as a global leader in digital innovation and government service excellence.
