Dubai, UAE – The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs–Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) has launched the second edition of its “Love Emirates” initiative, building on the strong public response generated by its debut last year. The renewed campaign aligns with the UAE’s Year of Community and aims to deepen social cohesion and a shared sense of national belonging among citizens, residents and visitors.
The latest edition was unveiled at Global Village, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Officials said the choice of venue reflects the UAE’s enduring status as a hub of cultural diversity and coexistence.
GDRFA-Dubai noted that the continued momentum of the initiative was driven by the “remarkable engagement” witnessed during its first edition. The refreshed identity of the campaign highlights unity and collective affection for the country, symbolised through participation under the UAE flag.

Running from November 20 to 30, this year’s programme features an interactive digital platform allowing the public to convey their love for the UAE through online tools, visual and video content, and a series of on-ground activities. Interactive engagements across social media will take place under the umbrella of “Love Emirates.”
According to GDRFA-Dubai, the initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen ties between government entities and the community, foster human connection, and elevate national identity using creative, impactful approaches.

Officials said the initiative also supports the UAE’s global reputation as a destination where diverse cultures thrive in harmony, while reinforcing GDRFA-Dubai’s standing as a leading government body in community engagement.
The campaign reflects the entity’s institutional mission to enhance quality of life and bolster the UAE’s presence on the international stage.
