Dubai, UAE – In a significant move set to reshape the region’s automotive aftermarket sector, Buyparts24 has entered a strategic joint venture with BSG Auto Parts during Automechanika Dubai, strengthening supply chain capabilities and expanding market access across the GCC and global markets.

The alliance aims to enhance product availability and streamline procurement for the UAE’s growing and diverse car parc, with a focus on delivering high-quality aftermarket solutions. As part of the agreement, Basbug Group’s private label brands — BSG Auto Parts and Orient Spare Parts, owned by Ghassan Aboud Holding — will benefit from expanded market penetration.

The collaboration brings together Buyparts24’s advanced digital platform and operational strengths with BSG Auto Parts’ extensive distribution expertise and decades-long industry presence. The companies expect the partnership to accelerate business growth, improve sourcing and distribution efficiencies, and set new standards in customer experience for automotive spare parts buyers.

“We are excited to partner with Basbug Group through Buyparts24 to redefine the automotive aftermarket in the region,” said Maher Aboud, CEO of Ghassan Aboud Holding. “This joint venture combines our digital expertise and regional presence with BSG’s global reach and industry experience, allowing us to deliver innovative solutions and a comprehensive product offering to customers.”

Halit Basbug, Board Member at Basbug Group, described the joint venture as a major milestone in the company’s international growth. “By combining BSG’s global product strength and sourcing capabilities with Buyparts24’s digital excellence, we can offer comprehensive aftermarket and OEM solutions. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to innovation and the future of the automotive industry,” he said.

Industry experts view the move as a strong step toward digitalisation and consolidation in the region’s auto parts ecosystem. Both companies say the partnership reflects a long-term commitment to expanding their regional footprint, strengthening market leadership, and investing in technology and infrastructure to support evolving customer needs.
