Dubai, UAE – The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has successfully organized the “You Matter Most 2026” initiative, bringing together employees from across various sectors and job levels in an interactive dialogue-driven gathering aimed at reinforcing direct communication between leadership and staff while promoting a positive, empowering workplace culture.
The initiative reflects GDRFA Dubai’s ongoing commitment to building a human-centered institutional environment that places employees at the core of development and performance. Through open communication, shared leadership perspectives, and active listening, the program seeks to enhance job satisfaction, strengthen organizational stability, and elevate overall performance.
The event featured a series of engaging sessions, including open dialogues with Assistant Directors General that focused on the future of GDRFA Dubai’s sectors and the growing role of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence in service enhancement. An interactive segment titled “Why We Matter” allowed employees to share experiences and feedback, highlighting key findings from the organization’s institutional survey. A visual presentation emphasizing the concept of the “GDRFA Dubai family” reinforced values of unity, belonging, and teamwork, while the closing segment, “Your Voice Is Heard,” reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to transparency and constructive communication.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, emphasized the importance of employees as true partners in institutional success.
“At GDRFA Dubai, we believe that employees are the true partners in our journey of success. Direct communication and sincere listening are the foundation for building a stable and motivating work environment,” he said. “The ‘You Matter Most’ initiative strengthens closeness between leadership and employees and positively impacts performance and service quality.”

Meanwhile, Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director General, described the initiative as a vital platform for strengthening trust, transparency, and decision-making within the organization.
“This gathering reflects our leadership approach based on partnership with employees and clarity of vision,” he said, noting that empowering staff and valuing their feedback are fundamental to policy development and workplace improvement.
