Abu Dhabi, UAE – ADNEC Group, a Modon company, has announced an ambitious events calendar for the first half of 2026, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global hub for business, innovation and cultural exchange. Following its most successful year in 2025, the Group will host 192 events across its UAE venues between January and June 2026, spanning strategic sectors such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, sustainability, defence, energy, technology, leisure and entertainment.
ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi will stage 125 events, while 67 events will be held at ADNEC Centre Al Ain. Notably, 12 major international events will make their Middle East debut, including IAAPA Expo Middle East, the Emirates International Congress on Artificial Intelligence, M&I Expo Abu Dhabi, Open Masters Games, and the World Customs Organization Technology Conference.

The year opens with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (11–15 January), drawing more than 50,000 attendees, alongside the World Future Energy Summit and the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards. January will also feature UMEX and SimTEX, showcasing cutting-edge unmanned and simulation technologies.
February welcomes the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 and the Abu Dhabi Poetry Festival, while Ramadan will see the return of Capital Majlis gatherings in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The spring season brings flagship events including IAAPA Expo Middle East, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, M&I Expo Abu Dhabi, Make it in the Emirates, AI Everything Abu Dhabi, and the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

The first half of the year concludes with Abu Dhabi Summer Sports, the region’s largest indoor sporting festival, promoting year-round community wellbeing.
