Dubai, UAE – The 27th edition of Intersec, the world’s largest business exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection, commenced on January 12, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing global attention to advancements in safety and security solutions. Intersec 2026 features more than 1,400 exhibitors from over 60 countries and is expected to attract upwards of 50,000 trade visitors from across the world.

Pakistan is participating in the prestigious exhibition with six companies showcasing their products and services under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). The Pakistan Pavilion was formally inaugurated by Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, alongside Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, marking the country’s growing engagement with international trade platforms.

The participating Pakistani exhibitors emphasized the significance of Intersec as a vital platform for promoting Pakistan’s export potential, particularly in the UAE, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and other international markets. They noted that such exhibitions offer valuable opportunities to present innovative solutions, understand global market trends, and connect with international buyers and partners.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Hussain Muhammad highlighted that Pakistan’s presence at global exhibitions like Intersec reflects the country’s commitment to strengthening trade and investment relations and showcasing its industrial and technological capabilities, especially in the safety and security sector. He stated that participation in such international events enables Pakistani companies to explore new markets, establish long-term business linkages, and enhance their global footprint.
