Dubai, UAE – Dubai’s legendary trackside landmark, The Meydan Hotel, is set to reopen on 15 January 2026 under the Rare Finds Hotels & Resorts portfolio of Kerzner International, marking a significant new chapter for one of the city’s most iconic hospitality destinations.

Owned by Dubai Holding Hospitality, the hotel re-emerges with a bold vision that blends architectural distinction with the high-energy spirit of the Meydan Racecourse. Located just minutes from Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport, the property retains its striking wave-like silhouette and luminous green glass façade, offering guests a rare front-row view of Dubai’s celebrated horse racing scene.

The reimagined hotel features 284 exceptionally spacious rooms and suites, each designed to maximise natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies. Guest rooms begin at 62 square metres, while the largest suites span up to 370 square metres across two floors, reinforcing the hotel’s positioning as one of Dubai’s most generously proportioned luxury stays.

“The Meydan Hotel holds so many memories for so many people and has its own unique place in Dubai’s hospitality landscape,” said Ziad Sleiman, General Manager of The Meydan Hotel. “We are honoured to lead the next chapter of this iconic property, building on its legacy while infusing it with Kerzner’s vibrant energy and globally renowned service standards.”

Beyond accommodation, the hotel places sport and lifestyle at its core. Guests will enjoy direct access to a world-class sporting ecosystem, including the Meydan Racecourse, The Track’s floodlit nine-hole golf course overlooking tranquil lakes, and the Meydan Tennis Academy, featuring seven courts and dedicated padel facilities. As evening falls, the hotel transforms into a dynamic social hub catering to both the local community and international travellers.

The culinary offering has also been redefined with a focus on social dining. Farriers presents Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a sleek alfresco setting, while the Millennium Lounge offers specialty coffee, afternoon tea and shisha in an elegant yet relaxed environment. The Equus Pool Bar, set beside the rooftop infinity pool, serves light bites and refreshments with panoramic views of the Dubai skyline.

Complementing its leisure appeal, The Meydan Hotel boasts extensive indoor and outdoor event spaces capable of hosting up to 50,000 guests, supported by ample complimentary on-site parking, positioning it as a premier venue for large-scale celebrations and corporate events.

Reopening as part of Kerzner International’s Rare Finds collection, The Meydan Hotel exemplifies the brand’s approach to reimagining iconic destinations with innovation and character. To mark its return, the hotel has launched an introductory offer for early bookers, featuring discounted rates, dining benefits, late check-out and guaranteed room upgrades, valid for stays through January 2027.

With its renewed vision, The Meydan Hotel is poised to reclaim its status as a defining landmark in Dubai’s luxury hospitality scene.
