Dubai, UAE – Global brokerage firm STARTRADER has announced the renewal of its partnership with the UAE Men’s National Cricket Team for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to begin on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka. As part of the renewed agreement, STARTRADER’s branding will be prominently displayed on the team’s official jerseys throughout the tournament.
The partnership builds on STARTRADER’s previous sponsorship of the UAE National Cricket Team during last year’s Asia Cup, also hosted in the UAE. This time, the collaboration has been expanded to reflect a deeper, long-term commitment to the sport and its growing community.
Speaking on the occasion, STARTRADER Chief Executive Officer Peter Karsten said the partnership underscores values common to both cricket and trading. He noted that commitment, trust, and growth are essential drivers of success in both fields and emphasized the company’s belief in supporting communities over the long term.
STARTRADER highlighted its global regulatory standing—being licensed by five authorities including the SCA, ASIC, FSCA, FSA, and FSC—as a reflection of its focus on trust and security, enabling clients to pursue growth with confidence.

Welcoming the renewed association, Emirates Cricket Board Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad expressed optimism about the collaboration, describing it as a partnership that extends beyond sport. He said the alliance reflects shared principles of discipline, focus, and resilience, and aligns with the board’s vision of supporting the national team as it competes on the world stage.
Both organizations emphasized the parallels between high-level sport and financial trading, where preparation, precision, and discipline play a decisive role in transforming ambition into success.
With the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup approaching, the renewed partnership marks another step in STARTRADER’s efforts to build meaningful connections that support people and foster sustainable growth, while contributing to the continued development of cricket in the UAE.
