Abu Dhabi, UAE Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth has praised Abu Dhabi as an ideal destination for family travel, citing its ability to balance high-energy attractions with meaningful cultural and educational experiences.

Reflecting on a recent visit with his family, Hemsworth said Abu Dhabi offers something for every age and interest. “From action-packed thrills to calm, immersive and educational moments, Abu Dhabi has it covered,” he said, adding that shared experiences in nature, culture and adventure help families focus on what matters most—time together and lasting memories.

His wife, actress Elsa Pataky, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the emirate’s versatility. “Abu Dhabi has this beautiful balance: thrilling adventures for the kids, cultural experiences for the adults, and endless opportunities for the whole family to connect,” she said.

During their stay, the family explored several of Abu Dhabi’s major attractions. On Yas Island, they visited CLYMB Abu Dhabi, experiencing indoor climbing and skydiving suited to all skill levels. At Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the family enjoyed a mix of high-speed rides and age-friendly attractions designed for all generations.

They also ventured to Surf Abu Dhabi on Hudayriyat Island, where controlled wave conditions allowed both beginners and experienced surfers to participate, and cooled off at Yas Waterworld, home to more than 60 water attractions inspired by Emirati pearl-diving heritage.
