New Delhi: The National Capital Region (NCR) is set to witness the launch of a unique sporting initiative this March as the Aero Premier League (APL) makes its grand debut, introducing India’s first corporate T10 cricket tournament dedicated exclusively to the aviation-linked industries.

Scheduled from March 17 to March 24, 2026, the eight-day tournament will feature 10 competitive teams representing leading corporates and institutions from sectors such as Airlines, Customs, Airports, Logistics, Hospitality, and other key industries connected to the aviation ecosystem.

The league is a joint venture between Prithvi 360 Degree Pvt Ltd and Sidsportx Enterprises, blending strategic brand-building expertise with professional sports management. Organisers say the league aims to go beyond cricket, creating a networking and engagement platform where industry leaders, professionals, and brands connect on the field.

The inaugural season will host 23 matches in a fast-paced T10 format, known for delivering high-intensity games in under 90 minutes. The format is expected to ensure explosive action and high entertainment value throughout the tournament.

Speaking on the launch, Abhishek Sengupta, COO of Aero Premier League, highlighted the league’s vision. “The aviation sector has some of the most passionate cricket lovers in the country, and the Aero Premier League gives them a platform to compete at a serious level. The T10 format is perfect for our audience — it’s intense, fast-paced, and delivers complete matches in under 90 minutes. We’re creating a whole new segment in Indian cricket that connects the aviation community through the sport they love,” he said.

The tournament will feature aviation professionals from across India, bringing together talent from diverse corporate backgrounds. The schedule includes two matches on the opening day, followed by three matches daily, all slated for prime-time evening slots to maximize viewership and on-ground engagement across the NCR.

With strong interest already from major names in the aviation industry, the Aero Premier League is poised to carve out a distinctive niche in India’s growing corporate sports landscape.
