The new GST-B1000D model reflects Casio’s broader corporate purpose of bringing “new levels of joy to lives one by one” through innovative products. Continuing the legacy of G-SHOCK — originally developed from a determination to create an unbreakable watch — the latest release combines advanced functionality with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
At the core of the GST-B1000D is a newly developed compact module that enables a slimmer and lighter build without sacrificing performance. The watch is equipped with Tough Solar charging and Mobile Link functionality via Bluetooth®, allowing users to connect to the CASIO WATCHES smartphone app for enhanced usability.
Design plays a central role in the new model. The streamlined bezel features a mix of straight and circular hairline finishes along with mirror polishing, highlighting the refined texture of metal. Its octagonal case and brick-pattern dial draw inspiration from the DW-5000C, the very first G-SHOCK model, linking the modern timepiece to the brand’s heritage.
The GST-B1000D-1A variant incorporates signature G-SHOCK colors within its inset dial: red symbolizing the spirit of challenge, blue representing water resistance, and yellow denoting superior shock resistance. Despite its rugged credentials, the minimalist design allows the watch to transition easily between business, casual, and outdoor settings.
