Dubai, UAE – Cricket fever gripped Barasti Beach this week as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 trophy made a special appearance in Dubai, giving fans an early glimpse of the iconic silverware ahead of the global tournament. The stopover event drew enthusiastic crowds and heightened excitement just days before the competition gets underway in India and Sri Lanka.
The 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to run from 7 February to 8 March, uniting the world’s top T20 teams in a month of high-octane cricket action. The tournament will feature 20 teams divided into four groups of five, with each team battling for a spot in the knockout rounds.
The campaign begins on Saturday, 7 February, with a triple-header of opening day matches. In the first fixture, Pakistan takes on the Netherlands in Colombo at 09:30 GST, followed by West Indies vs Scotland at 13:30, and hosts India facing the USA under the lights at 19:30.

Throughout the group stage — running until 20 February — there will be three matches daily, following the same time slots as the opening day schedule. The sole exception will be the final day of the group phase, which features a single later-afternoon kickoff at 17:30.
Cricket fans in the UAE and MENA region will also be able to enjoy live streaming of all matches on the STARZPLAY app, which carries the CricLife channels. Viewers can watch the cricket on their phones, tablets, or smart TVs with a valid subscription.
