Dubai, UAE: Union Coop has unveiled an extensive Ramadan campaign featuring major discounts, price stabilization measures, and community initiatives aimed at supporting families and ensuring market stability during the holy month.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at Union Coop’s headquarters in Al Warqa City Mall, attended by CEO Mohamed Al Hashemi, representatives from the Ministry of Economy, media personnel, and department leaders.
As part of the campaign, Union Coop is offering discounts of up to 60 percent on more than 3,000 food and non-food products. The discounted items include key Ramadan essentials such as rice, cooking oils, flour, sugar, poultry, eggs, dates, and a range of fresh and frozen products. These offers will be available across all Union Coop branches, its online store, and the ‘Tamayaz’ mobile application. Additionally, the cooperative has frozen prices on more than 160 essential commodities to maintain price stability throughout Ramadan.
Al Hashemi said the campaign supports the UAE’s ‘Year of the Family’ initiative and aligns with national efforts to ease the financial burden on households during Ramadan. He noted that Union Coop currently offers more than 6,000 locally produced products and continues its price reduction and stabilization initiative launched three years ago, with monthly product reviews based on consumer demand.
The cooperative will also continue its social responsibility initiatives, including the ‘Your Iftar is Their Suhoor’ campaign, now in its eighth year, which focuses on reducing food waste and promoting sustainability. Additional community efforts include blood donation campaigns in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority and digital charity contributions through the ‘Tarahum’ platform using QR codes to support Ramadan food box distribution.

Under the ‘More Ramadan Blessings on Your Table’ campaign, running until March 23, 2026, shoppers who spend AED 150 and scan their Tamayaz account will be eligible to enter weekly draws offering 10 winners AED 1,000 each, along with monthly draws awarding two Jetour vehicles.
Union Coop is also enhancing the Ramadan shopping experience with app-exclusive promotions, interactive digital features, in-store cooking sessions scheduled from February 13 to 15, and distribution of dates and water during Iftar time.
The cooperative continues to strengthen food security by collaborating with more than 33 local farms and maintaining a robust international supply network, alongside delivery services designed to improve customer convenience and reduce in-store congestion.
Al Hashemi reaffirmed that the campaign reflects Union Coop’s continued social and economic commitment to supporting families and communities throughout Ramadan.
