Dubai, UAE – Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare providers in the UAE and Gulf region, announced on 25 February 2026 that it has partnered with TIME to support the TIME100 Impact Dinner: Leaders Shaping the Future of Health, held in New York alongside the unveiling of the 2026 TIME100 Health list. The TIME100 Health list recognises doctors, scientists and policymakers driving breakthroughs in global healthcare, and by sponsoring the dinner Aster helped put a global spotlight on the changemakers advancing research, strengthening health systems and expanding access to care worldwide.
Around 150 distinguished guests gathered at the invite-only dinner in New York City. The attendees included current TIME100 Health honourees alongside global healthcare pioneers, investors and other influential figures driving progress across the healthcare ecosystem. Aster DM Healthcare’s support for the TIME100 Impact Dinner provided an occasion to celebrate those “transforming healthcare across the globe”.

As context, Aster DM Healthcare was founded in 1987 on the belief that healthcare is a human right, and has grown into a diversified healthcare ecosystem spanning seven countries in the Gulf region and India. Central to its model is an integrated “Circle of Care”, which links primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary services within one system. This approach is intended to ensure continuity, accessibility and innovation in patient care. Today the group serves around 20 million patients a year, supported by nearly 40,000 healthcare professionals across its hospitals, clinics and pharmacies in India and the Middle East.
At the exclusive dinner in New York City, Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO, Aster DM Healthcare addressed the gathering. She congratulated the TIME100 Health honourees and other global leaders, highlighting how Aster’s vision of “humanity and humancare” is aligned with their work. Her presence at the event underscored the company’s commitment to advancing patient-centric care on the global stage.
Moopen said it was “an honour to celebrate the launch of this year’s TIME100 Health list, which recognises some of the most influential change-makers in healthcare”. She noted that, at Aster, healthcare “is more than a profession – it is a calling,” defined by “compassion in action, ingenuity that solves real challenges, and dedication that transforms lives”. Moopen added that she was “truly inspired by the remarkable individuals and leaders” featured on the list, noting that each of them “exemplifies passion, resilience and innovation in the service of people around the world”.

Aster DM Healthcare now operates one of the region’s largest integrated networks. In the Middle East, the group runs 15 hospitals, 126 clinics and 338 pharmacies, while in India it has 20 hospitals (more than 5,450 beds), 10 clinics, over 200 pharmacies and 300 labs and patient experience centres across five states. The group’s simple promise to all stakeholders remains: “We’ll Treat You Well”.
