Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia is preparing to host Aluminium Arabia 2026 from April 27 to 29 at Arena Riyadh, in a move expected to further strengthen the Kingdom’s industrial ambitions under Vision 2030.
Organised by RX, the event is being positioned as more than just an industry exhibition. It is set to serve as a key meeting ground for government officials, global aluminium leaders and local manufacturers, all working toward one goal: accelerating the growth of Saudi Arabia’s aluminium sector and expanding its industrial capabilities.
A major highlight of this year’s edition is the partnership with the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), which joins as the event’s official Government Partner. The collaboration is expected to spotlight NIDC’s role in supporting industrial localisation, encouraging innovation and helping Saudi industries build stronger links with international markets.
As part of the wider ALUMINIUM global events portfolio, which includes the renowned Aluminium Global Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Aluminium Arabia brings international experience to the Saudi market while keeping its focus firmly on the Kingdom’s own industrial priorities.
Saudi Arabia’s aluminium sector is on a strong growth path. Industry projections show the market could reach USD 3.53 billion by 2030, growing at an annual rate of 4.4 percent. That momentum is backed by more than USD 12 billion in aluminium-related investments, the Kingdom’s rich bauxite reserves, competitive energy prices and the presence of one of the world’s largest integrated aluminium production hubs in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City, which produces around 740,000 tonnes of aluminium each year.
The Kingdom has also made its global ambitions clear, with plans to rank among the top 10 aluminium producers worldwide. That target is being supported by broader investments across the metals sector and national policies aimed at boosting industrial innovation and local production.
The first Riyadh edition of Aluminium Arabia will cover the full aluminium value chain — from raw materials and processing technologies to finished applications in sectors such as construction, automotive, aerospace and packaging. With more than USD 1.3 trillion in infrastructure and megaprojects currently underway across Saudi Arabia, demand for aluminium solutions is expected to rise sharply in the coming years.

The exhibition’s programme will revolve around five major themes: downstream development, end-user applications, investment and localisation, sustainability and circular economy, and innovation, talent and Industry 4.0, including areas such as artificial intelligence, IoT and data analytics.
Commenting on the event, Michael Köhler, General Manager of RX Germany, said the Riyadh edition is designed to bring global aluminium expertise into one of the world’s fastest-evolving industrial markets.
“This event extends global aluminium market expertise into one of the world’s most dynamic industrial landscapes. The Riyadh edition is designed to connect international solution providers with regional demand across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing and sustainable production, delivering practical business outcomes and strengthening cross-border industry collaboration.”
Eng. Matar Al-Harthi, EVP of Minerals & Metals at NIDC, said the exhibition reflects the organisation’s broader mission of building stronger links between policymaking and industry development.
“At NIDC, we believe in creating long-lasting bonds between policy and industry. Aluminium Arabia 2026 exemplifies this vision by uniting international leaders and local pioneers to set new benchmarks in industrial development and technological advancement.”
By combining global expertise with local industrial goals, Aluminium Arabia 2026 is expected to play an important role in shaping the future of the Kingdom’s aluminium industry and the wider manufacturing landscape across the Middle East.
