Dubai: Book lovers in the UAE now have more time to explore one of the world’s biggest book sales, as Big Bad Wolf Books Dubai 2026 has officially been extended until March 15 at The Sound Stage, Dubai Studio City.
Originally set to close on March 8, organisers announced that the popular sale will now continue for an extra week, giving more families, students and avid readers the chance to visit. The event remains open daily from 10am until 2am, with free entry and complimentary parking for all visitors.
Confirming the extension, Andrew Yap, Co-founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, said the decision came in response to overwhelming demand from both returning visitors and those planning their first trip to the fair.
He said the added days would allow even more people to browse and shop from the one million books on display at the Dubai event.

Yap said the fair was designed to be a welcoming space for all ages, especially families and young readers, offering visitors the chance to take their time, explore different genres and reconnect with the experience of reading printed books.
He added that this year’s collection includes around 18,000 titles, covering a wide variety of genres and age groups. The selection ranges from board books and activity books for children to fiction, young adult titles and literary works, reflecting the diverse interests of the UAE’s multicultural community.
Held under the theme “Beyond the Noise,” this year’s edition places focus on the importance of slowing down and making time for meaningful reading in a world dominated by digital distractions. Organisers say the campaign also reflects Big Bad Wolf Books’ wider goal of making books more affordable and helping families build lasting reading habits at home.
Visitors can expect a broad selection of titles at budget-friendly prices, with opportunities to discover new authors, revisit classic works and grow their personal libraries.

To make shopping easier for families, the children’s section has been arranged by age groups: 0 to 4, 5 to 8, and 8 to 12.
Yap also said the event continues to support schools and learning communities. Students and educators can receive an additional 5 per cent discount on all English books, with no minimum spend required, by presenting a valid ID at checkout.
Shoppers can also take part in prize draws during the event. Visitors who spend AED200 in a single transaction will receive one lucky draw entry for a chance to win prizes including a MacBook Air. Those who spend more will qualify for additional entries. AED1,000 vouchers are also up for grabs, with more details available on Big Bad Wolf Books’ official social media pages.
