Aayal QureshiDubai, UAE – LIFE Pharmacy, the largest pharmacy retail chain in the Middle East, has introduced the UAE’s first-ever discount pharmacy concept, Pharmacy for LESS, at Dubai Outlet Mall. The 8,000-square-foot store aims to make healthcare more affordable by offering year-round discounts of 25 to 35 percent on over 30,000 products from more than 500 leading brands. This initiative reflects the company’s goal of providing accessible healthcare products to all UAE residents.
Speaking at the launch event, Abdul Nazzar, Chairman and Managing Director of LIFE Healthcare Group, highlighted the significance of this new venture: “With Pharmacy for LESS, we are addressing the challenge of affordability, ensuring that individuals and families can access essential health and wellness products without financial burden.” The group plans to expand this discount concept with 25 stores across the UAE in the next two years.
The new store offers a wide range of products, including medicines, supplements, skincare, and mother and baby care items, with wellness products available at reduced prices while adhering to UAE health authority regulations for illness management products.
LIFE Pharmacy CEO, Jobilal M Vavachan, emphasized the broader impact of the initiative, noting that it not only benefits consumers but also supports 3,000 to 4,000 small pharmacies in the UAE by improving their supply chains through a new membership program.
With over 490 outlets across the region, LIFE Pharmacy is expanding rapidly to meet the increasing demand for healthcare services in the UAE, aiming to have an outlet within 30 minutes of any location.
