An Evening with Anwar Maqsood: Celebrating the Journey of a Living Legend in Support of Pakistan Medical Centre

Dubai, UAE – Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) is set to host a landmark event celebrating the legendary Anwar Maqsood. The evening, organized in collaboration with Poetic Strokes, promises an immersive tribute to the iconic writer behind works such as Loose Talk and numerous memorable scripts. Proceeds from the event will support the Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC) in its mission to provide free healthcare to deserving individuals in the UAE.

A Tribute to a Cultural Icon:
Anwar Maqsood, a celebrated writer, humorist, and cultural icon, will captivate the audience with his brilliant wit and satire. The event will pay tribute to his timeless contributions to literature, television, and society, celebrating his significant impact on cultural heritage.

Supporting Pakistan Medical Centre:
The event will also support the Pakistan Medical Centre, the first not-for-profit healthcare facility in the region, which has impacted over 103,900 lives across 92 nationalities. As the only medical centre of its kind in the GCC region, PMC continues to provide free healthcare to those in need, supported by generous donors and initiatives.

Muhsin Al Banna, Chairperson of PMC, remarked, “Since 2020, Pakistan Medical Centre has expanded its expert care to 34 specialties. With AED 16.8 million in subsidized healthcare, over 57,000 welfare patients have been served, supported by the incredible dedication of our volunteer professionals who have given more than 56,000 hours of their time. This collective effort showcases what we can achieve when a community comes together with shared purpose.”
