Dubai, UAE – The Chinar Super League (CSL) is gearing up for a monumental event as its iconic trophy begins an ambitious journey spanning over 10,300 kilometers. Traveling through Dubai, Srinagar, Muzaffarabad, Islamabad, and New Delhi, the trophy symbolizes unity, environmental commitment, and the growing influence of this prominent sports league.

A Visionary League with a Cause
During a press conference unveiling the CSL’s seventh season, founder and chairman Raja Asad Khalid shared his excitement about the league’s expanding role in sports and its efforts to address environmental challenges. He emphasized that the CSL is not just a sports platform but a movement dedicated to uniting communities and promoting sustainability.

“This season, we are not only extending our reach but also working to raise climate awareness and offer long-term environmental solutions,” Khalid said. He highlighted the league’s tree-planting campaigns and environmental initiatives as examples of its commitment to giving back to society.

CSL Season 7: February in Sharjah
The much-anticipated seventh season of the CSL will take place in Sharjah on February 7, 8, and 9. Sixteen teams will compete for the prestigious trophy in an event that promises to blend sportsmanship with a focus on environmental responsibility.

An Iconic Trophy with a Message of Unity
The CSL trophy, a beacon of the league’s mission, will embark on a journey from Dubai to Srinagar via New Delhi, and from Dubai to Muzaffarabad via Islamabad. This journey aims to unite communities across borders and highlight the pressing environmental challenges faced in the region. Raja Asad Khalid underscored the league’s dedication to using sports as a platform for peace, harmony, and ecological awareness.

Environmental Campaigns Take Center Stage
The CSL has expanded its environmental initiatives, including partnerships with UAE government institutions to support the Zero Carbon Mission. Efforts include reducing plastic bag usage, beach cleaning activities, and tree-planting campaigns. Last year, the league planted 21 trees; this year, they aim to plant 32 more across Kashmir.

A highlight of this season is the “Chinar Beach Cricket” tournament, which will focus on ocean conservation, plastic pollution awareness, and sustainability. Khalid noted that such symbolic events encourage public participation in environmental preservation while fostering a sense of community.

Partnerships Driving Sustainability
The league’s sponsors and partners expressed strong support for its mission. Main sponsor Sardar Sajid Iqbal Abbasi announced plans to plant 1,000 trees along Kashmir’s rivers to combat flooding and promote environmental protection. Sardar Ayaz, owner of Silver City, praised CSL’s vision and pledged to support tree-planting campaigns in his area. Other partners, including Alpha Investment and Smart Creation Business Center, echoed their commitment to the league’s initiatives.

Looking Ahead: Expanding Influence and Community Impact
Raja Asad Khalid also revealed plans for an official CSL anthem to be released at the upcoming launch event. The anthem will celebrate the league’s growth and reinforce its mission of uniting people through sports and environmental awareness.

With a growing presence in Kashmir and a commitment to sustainability, the Chinar Super League continues to evolve into a platform that transcends sports. Its focus on community, culture, and environmental preservation sets a powerful example for future generations.

A Legacy in the Making
Organizers and sponsors expressed gratitude to all those contributing to the CSL’s success, emphasizing that the league’s vision of unity, sustainability, and sports development is becoming a reality. As the trophy’s historic journey unfolds, the Chinar Super League stands as a beacon of hope, unity, and environmental responsibility.
