News DeskDubai, UAE – This Ramadan, City Walk and The Beach, JBR are making it easier than ever to give back to the community by partnering with non-profit The Giving Family for a donation drive. The initiative is aligned with 2025 being declared the Year of Community by the President of the UAE, and reinforces the power of collective kindness during the Holy Month.
Visitors can drop off gently used clothing for ladies, men, and kids, as well as children’s toys in good working condition, at designated collection points across both destinations. The Giving Family, a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting those in need, will distribute the donations to low-income families across the UAE, ensuring they reach those who need them most.
Donation drop-off locations and timings:
- The Beach, JBR (next to adidas):
- Saturdays – March 22 and 29 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- City Walk (behind VAO Concept Store):
- Sundays – March 23 and 30 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
For years, The Giving Family has been a cornerstone of community engagement in Dubai, especially during Ramadan, bringing people together to volunteer, pack and distribute meals to those in need.
