Dubai: Pakistan marked a strong presence at the 49th edition of Middle East Energy 2025 with the inauguration of its national pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre on April 7. The three-day event, running from April 7 to 9, is recognised as the region’s premier energy exhibition, drawing over 40,000 energy professionals and 1,600 international exhibitors.
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, officially inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion. He was joined by Consul General Hussain Muhammad, Trade & Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, and Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, along with Pakistani exhibitors.

Organised under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the pavilion features eight leading Pakistani companies. These firms are showcasing cutting-edge innovations in five major energy transition sectors: Smart Solutions, Clean & Renewable Energy, Backup Generators & Critical Power, Transmission & Distribution, and Energy Consumption & Management.

Ambassador Tirmizi expressed pride in Pakistan’s growing footprint in the global energy landscape. “It is a matter of great pride that eight dynamic Pakistani companies are participating in this prestigious event under TDAP’s platform,” he said. “Our pavilion is attracting global buyers, with a strong focus on smart energy solutions, renewable technologies, and power infrastructure.”

He also highlighted Pakistan’s increasing export growth in the MENA region, underscoring the UAE’s vital role as a key trading partner. “Middle East Energy provides an excellent opportunity for Pakistani businesses to exchange knowledge, forge partnerships, and explore new avenues for collaboration with global industry leaders,” he added.

The event continues to serve as a vital platform for international engagement and innovation, with Pakistan’s participation reaffirming its commitment to becoming a competitive player in the global energy sector.
