News DeskDubai, UAE – In celebration of International Tea Day on May 21, Akabeko, Dubai’s first tabletop Yakiniku Japanese restaurant is treating tea aficionados by providing a complimentary welcoming tea drink, available to all guests upon arrival from May 21 to 23.
As part of the celebration, Akabeko also welcomes guests to explore its Matcha Afternoon Tea, an experience that celebrates the art of Japanese tea with uniquely conceptualized matcha-infused desserts paired with a selection of savory Wagyu delicacies and a selection of teas to choose from.
Available through prior reservation only, the Matcha Afternoon Tea is priced at AED 185 per person and is inclusive of one complimentary beverage.
The experience includes Matcha treats such as a Caramel Matcha Pudding, an airy Matcha Roll Cake with Matcha cream, a Matcha Macaron, and a Matcha Dorayaki. Savory creations include a Bao Bun with Japanese A5 Wagyu slices, greens and garlic, and a Mini Croissant with Japanese A5 Wagyu slices, shiso leaf and spicy mayo, a Japanese A5 Wagyu Smash Burger Slider and a Grilled Rice Ball.
To complement the culinary delights, guests can sip on a wide selection of hot and cold teas. Warm tea options include Green Tea, Genmaicha, Caramel Roasted Green Tea, Japanese Earl Grey Tea and Japanese Black Tea, whereas cold tea options include Mango Green Tea, Peach Green Tea and Lemon Green Tea. Matcha lattes and sparkling cold tea options are also available for a refreshing twist.
