Sweden to Host Historic €100,000 UAE President’s Cup for Arabian Horses 

Sixth Leg of Prestigious Series Marks Scandinavia’s Most Valuable Race

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the 32nd UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses heads to Stockholm for its sixth leg. The race, set for Friday, June 6, 2025, at Gärdet Turf Track, coincides with Sweden’s National Day and will make history as Scandinavia’s most valuable Arabian horse race, boasting a €100,000 prize purse. 

Nine elite horses will compete in the Listed category (4+ years old, 1500m), including top contenders from Sweden and Europe. Representing the UAE is the filly Hawlah (YAS Horse Racing Management), sired by Mehabb and out of Dahyah bint Munjiz, trained by Élisabeth Bernard and ridden by Valentin Seguy. 

Key Contenders to Watch: 

● Rasmey Al Khalediah – Two-time UAE President’s Cup Sweden winner (2021, 2022), trained by Janusz Kozłowski, ridden by Eduardo Pedroza. 

● Fareedah B – Reigning Netherlands leg champion (2024), owned/trained by Peter Deckers, jockeyed by Fabrice Veron. 

● Wasmey Al Khalediah, Mashho T, No Risk No Reward, Ayman, Gindor de Bozouls, and Cappuccino.
