News DeskDubai, UAE – Crayons Nursery, a purpose-built early childhood education centre, officially broke ground in Nad Al Sheba 1 on Monday, marking a significant milestone in Dubai’s commitment to quality early years learning. The project is a joint initiative by Nalapad Investments and MVK Holdings, both known for their leadership in the education sector.
Set to open its doors to toddlers in May 2026 and to FS1 and FS2 students from September 2026, Crayons Nursery will cater to children aged 45 days to five years. With a bilingual curriculum in English and Arabic, the centre will follow a play-led, inquiry-based approach inspired by global best practices, including EYFS, Montessori, and Finnish pedagogical models.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by government officials, education leaders, media representatives, and families. Chief Guest Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, CEO of the Knowledge Fund Establishment, commended the project as a step forward in enriching Dubai’s education landscape.
