Al Masaood CV&E Boosts Waste Management in Al Ain with 134 UD Trucks

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Masaood Commercial Vehicles and Equipment (CV&E) has expanded its collaboration with Lavajet to bolster the waste management sector in the Al Ain region of Abu Dhabi, UAE. As the sole distributor of UD Trucks in Abu Dhabi, Al Masaood CV&E has provided a fleet of 134 UD Trucks to Lavajet for waste management services. This partnership, which has been ongoing for four years, has primarily focused on aftersales services for Croner and Quester Trucks used in waste management by TADWEER, Abu Dhabi Municipality’s Waste Management Centre.

Under the new contract, Euro 5 versions of Quester and Croner trucks, equipped with eco-friendly features designed to reduce environmental impact, enhance efficiency, and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), will be deployed in the Al Ain region. These UD Trucks are set to significantly improve the sustainability of waste management practices.

Mohammad El Zeftawi, General Manager of Al Masaood CV&E, emphasized the commitment to enhancing waste management in Al Ain through this partnership, highlighting the advanced features of the new vehicles.

Elie Salem, Area Manager of Lavajet, expressed excitement about reinforcing their partnership with Al Masaood CV&E and UD Trucks, focusing on a greener future and long-term sustainability goals.

The UD Trucks Quester boasts automated transmission, while the UD Trucks Croner is equipped with automatic transmission. Both trucks feature advanced technology, including an advanced body builder module control unit and flexible chassis for various waste management applications.

Mr. Mourad Hedna, President of UD Trucks MENA, highlighted the success of the collaboration, solidifying UD Trucks’ leadership in the waste management sector in the UAE and the GCC region.
