News DeskAbu Dhabi: CLYMB™ Yas Island Abu Dhabi has launched the Air Competition Qualifiers, a seven-day indoor skydiving event that brings together 36 of the world’s top flyers in the world’s largest indoor flight chamber.
Running until September 7, the qualifiers will determine who secures a spot at the Emirates EASA International Parachuting Championships (EEIPC), scheduled for January 2026. The EEIPC will mark the world’s first hybrid skydiving competition.
Spectators can watch the training sessions until Thursday from 5:30pm to 8pm, followed by qualifier rounds on Friday and Saturday during the same hours. The final session will take place on Sunday, from 4pm to 7pm. Entry for fans is free.
The event promises a showcase of speed, precision and skill as athletes push the boundaries of human flight. Visitors inspired by the competition can also try indoor skydiving themselves, with CLYMB™ offering experiences guided by expert instructors for beginners and professionals alike.
