Abu Dhabi, UAE – The iconic Red Roof of Ferrari World Yas Island came alive on Saturday as over 500 women and girls united for the second annual Ferrari Ladies Run. The event, served as a powerful celebration of fitness, community, and the enduring legacy of Emirati women.
Under the theme, ‘Hand in Hand, Celebrating the 50th,’ this year’s run paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of the General Women’s Union, established in 1975. The event highlighted five decades of empowerment and progress, underscoring the strength, spirit, and sisterhood of women in the UAE.
Participants navigated the climate-controlled indoor course, which wound through the park and into Yas Mall, providing a unique and exhilarating running experience. The ladies-only event, meticulously staffed by women to ensure a private and comfortable atmosphere, offered various distances to accommodate all fitness levels, from seasoned runners to beginners.
