DUBAI – The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai marked the 95th Saudi National Day on Tuesday with special celebratory activities at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1, reinforcing the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The festive atmosphere greeted Saudi travellers as they arrived, where they were welcomed with Emirati flags and commemorative gifts. As a symbol of enduring hospitality, the airport’s smart gates were illuminated in green, while the beloved mascots “Salem and Salama” distributed special gifts to children, creating a memorable experience for the cherished national occasion.

In a powerful gesture of appreciation, Saudi travellers received a special commemorative stamp in their passports. The stamp featured the 95th Saudi National Day logo and the phrase “(UAE_Saudi, Together-Forever),” reflecting the strategic relations and integration shared by the two nations.

A spokesperson for the GDRFA said the initiative underscores the directorate’s mission to place people at the heart of its services and reinforces Dubai’s reputation as a global leader in quality of life. “This celebration is a testament to our commitment to human-centred initiatives that build bridges of love and brotherhood, embodying the vision of our leadership,” the spokesperson stated.

The celebration highlights the unwavering commitment of both nations to fostering mutual respect and cooperation, further solidifying the bond between the brotherly peoples of the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
