Abu Dhabi, UAE: The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE) is set to launch at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, running from October 21 to 23 as a cornerstone of Global Food Week. The prestigious event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).
Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon Holding company, in cooperation with ADAFSA, the exhibition aims to serve as a pivotal platform for the food and beverage sector, enabling brands to showcase cutting-edge products and solutions to a global audience of buyers, manufacturers, and distributors. It seeks to unite the industry, offering expanded attractions and new opportunities for exhibitors to bolster their presence across GCC markets.
Driving Food System Resilience
Dr Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, Acting Director-General of ADAFSA, highlighted the exhibition’s vital role. “The Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition plays a pivotal role in driving transformation and enhancing the resilience of food systems by providing a growing platform for business and innovation,” he said. He added that the event offers invaluable opportunities for local companies to explore the latest technologies supporting safe food handling and the highest standards of health and safety.

A key feature of the exhibition is the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition, which underscores Abu Dhabi’s burgeoning status as a global centre for the date industry and its diverse products.
Showcasing Global and Local Talent
The exhibition is structured around several dedicated sectors to offer a comprehensive industry experience. These include:
- F&B Enablers & Market Leaders: Highlighting the major players steering sector growth.
- Local Food and Beverage zone: Celebrating the rich diversity of the UAE’s culinary scene and hosting a selection of local suppliers.
- International Food and Beverage sector: A dynamic platform for country pavilions, global start-ups, and innovative business models, fostering international trade exchange.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, commented on the event’s impact. “The continued success of this event reflects the pivotal role these exhibitions play in supporting the food security systems, creating an attractive environment for investment in the food sector, and concluding commercial agreements at both local and international levels,” he stated.
Enhanced Networking and Competitions
This year’s edition is set to boost trade through an enhanced Hosted Buyer Programme, designed to connect exhibitors with pre-qualified, high-purchasing-power buyers. The personalised programme facilitates meaningful business opportunities through speed networking events, pre-scheduled meetings, and a dedicated networking platform.

Culinary excellence will be on full display with the inclusion of the World Gourmet Show, featuring educational sessions and interactive demonstrations by top international chefs and culinary experts.
In a treat for coffee aficionados, the National Cup Tasters Championship & Brew Bar, hosted by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), will see the world’s best baristas compete in a series of challenges, offering participants and visitors an exceptional tasting experience.
Furthermore, a dedicated Honey Pavilion will provide local honey producers with a unique opportunity to showcase their natural products, aiming to support local production and raise awareness about the quality and diversity of national honey.
