DOHA, QATAR – Cityscape Qatar 2025 has concluded what industry experts are calling the most transformative edition in the event’s 24-year history. After three dynamic days at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), the event not only showcased the future of real estate but firmly established Qatar’s position as a global hub for investment and urban innovation, aligning directly with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the landmark edition saw record engagement and served as a powerful catalyst for strategic collaborations and groundbreaking project reveals, particularly in the realm of sustainable and human-centered urban planning.
Stablecoins and Urban Giants Lead the Forum
The final day was dominated by high-impact sessions at the 3rd Qatar Real Estate Forum, powered by Cityscape, focusing on financial technology and regional transformation.
A major highlight was the financial revolution session, where Richard Crook, CEO of Deus X Pay, detailed the fundamental impact of stablecoins on investment. “We are witnessing a trillion-dollar shift in how value moves across borders,” said Crook. “Stablecoins are not a promise of the future, they are already changing how real-world transactions happen. In real estate, that means payments that are instant, transparent, and trusted.”
Further defining the region’s urban evolution was the session on Urban Transformation Across the Middle East, moderated by Edd Brookes of Cushman and Wakefield. Robert Pearce, Executive Director of Sales at New Murabba Development Company, provided details of the highly anticipated New Murabba project.
“The New Murabba project is a civilization-defining destination and the world’s largest purpose-built downtown,” Pearce stated. He confirmed that the project is “rewriting the rules of city planning” by strictly adhering to the 15-minute city principle and is designed to house 280,000 residents and attract millions of global visitors.

Focus on Human-Centric Design and Inclusion
The CityscapeWIRE (Women in Real Estate) platform continued to champion inclusion and innovation. A compelling Architecture and Design session, moderated by Tracey Hunte, Country Director at Mace, explored how thoughtful design is reshaping communities.
Sharing the platform with Loulwa Al Thani, Head of Architecture at Qatari Diar, Hunte emphasized the core philosophy: “Human-centric spaces that inspire, connect, and support wellbeing are fundamental to the projects we deliver. CityscapeWIRE created a space to exchange ideas with leaders driving sustainability, urban planning, and design.”
The exhibition floor, meanwhile, buzzed with new partnership announcements, signaling extraordinary market confidence in Qatar. Sheikh Nasser Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of Qetaifan Projects, underscored the need for flexibility in today’s market. “Remaining agile and responsive to market dynamics is essential for every developer today. Customization is becoming the defining trend, creating lasting value for stakeholders across the real estate ecosystem.”
Qatar: A Global Investment Destination
The event solidified Qatar’s status as a world-class investment hub for international stakeholders. Giovanna Della Posta, Founder and CEO of Discovery Investments, noted the powerful momentum. “Collaborations between Qatar Diar and international partners are helping position Qatar as a truly global destination for investment. The sense of community and exchange this year was exceptional, and it was clear that Qatar’s real estate sector is not only expanding but evolving with purpose.”
In concluding remarks, Alexander Heuff, Group Director of Cityscape, highlighted the historic significance of the three-day convention. “Cityscape Qatar 2025 has marked a defining moment for the nation’s real estate sector and for our platform. More than an exhibition, Cityscape is now a strategic catalyst for investment, innovation, and inclusive dialogue that aligns with Qatar’s National Vision 2030.”
The event achieved a significant milestone, uniting government leaders, developers, investors, and designers in a convergence that transformed ambition into tangible opportunity.
