Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Land Department (DLD) concluded its impactful participation at GITEX Global 2025, solidifying its reputation as a vanguard of smart real estate transformation and further cementing Dubai’s status as one of the world’s most technologically advanced cities.

Amidst a vibrant showcase of future-shaping technologies, DLD’s pavilion became a magnet for VIPs, technology gurus, and real estate decision-makers alike. It served as a dynamic, interactive space, vividly demonstrating DLD’s commitment to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 by delivering a fully integrated, data- and AI-driven digital customer experience.

‘Digital Sale’ Headlines Innovation Drive

Leading the suite of pioneering initiatives unveiled was the first phase launch of the ‘Digital Sale’ service via the ‘Dubai Now’ app. This groundbreaking step promises to revolutionize property transactions, allowing customers to complete the entire buying and selling process digitally using their UAE Pass. The move is expected to significantly boost procedural efficiency, offering investors a faster, safer, and remarkably seamless experience.

DLD further enhanced market transparency with the introduction of the ‘Dubai Rental Heatmap’. Leveraging artificial intelligence and sophisticated data analytics, this tool provides precise rental value indicators for every housing unit, empowering both landlords and tenants to make informed decisions based on real-time, updated data.

To strengthen market trust and credibility, DLD also introduced the ‘Real Estate Transactions Platform’, an intelligent interactive dashboard that displays real-time transaction data across the emirate’s various areas.

Strategic Alliances Power AI and Customer Experience

DLD’s forward-looking strategy heavily features high-profile technological collaborations. A significant announcement was the partnership with Google Cloud to launch the ‘DLD Investor AI Assistant.’ This advanced system is designed to furnish investors with accurate insights and analytics, supporting informed decision-making and fostering growth in the real estate sector.

Furthermore, DLD announced a collaboration with Microsoft to develop a unified Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, leveraging the data-driven Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This initiative will integrate AI, automation, and data analytics to deliver a more seamless and interactive customer experience in managing requests and services.

Inter-Government and Financial Integration

The department utilized GITEX to reinforce vital national partnerships. Collaboration with the Dubai Municipality was strengthened through the Digital Twin and Smart Buildings Platform projects, aimed at enhancing smart city management and improving shared government service efficiency.

Cybersecurity also took centre stage, with DLD signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Dubai Police to bolster the real estate sector’s digital defences and raise public awareness against cybercrime and digital fraud.

A particularly cutting-edge announcement was the cooperation with Dubai Finance for an initial technical implementation to allow instant settlement of digital assets (cryptocurrencies) in UAE dirhams. This will enable instant payment of government service fees via the DubaiPay platform, managed by the Digital Dubai Authority (DDA), utilizing a licensed digital asset platform.

Additionally, DLD forged a strategic partnership with Emirates NBD to develop advanced digital solutions aimed at simplifying the tenant experience and enhancing flexibility across rental operations.

A Future Driven by Data and Transparency

Reflecting on the successful outing, Omar Al Mheiri, Head of DLD’s GITEX Global 2025 Participation Committee, emphasised the strategic vision. “The success of our participation… reflects DLD’s unwavering commitment to advancing smart real estate transformation and adopting cutting-edge technologies that elevate customer experience and promote the sustainability of the real estate market,” he stated.

Al Mheiri concluded that the ultimate goal is to build an integrated digital ecosystem that embeds efficiency and transparency into every service, which in turn reinforces Dubai’s position as a global leader in leveraging technology to empower customers and drive the economy of the future. The DLD remains focused on innovating solutions that maintain Dubai’s position at the forefront of global cities pioneering technology and real estate innovation.
