Islamabad: Khalid Hussain Chaudhry, President of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah and Advisory Director of the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah, led a six-member delegation to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to extend facilitation to the newly elected President, Sardar Tahir Mehmood.
During the meeting, Chaudhry highlighted the achievements of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah and the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah in fostering trade and investment links between Sharjah and Pakistan. He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening business collaboration between the two regions and identified potential sectors for mutual cooperation.
Welcoming the delegation, ICCI President Sardar Tahir Mehmood briefed the visitors on the Chamber’s initiatives to promote economic growth through policy advocacy and business facilitation. He shared plans for organizing an industrial exhibition in Islamabad and establishing a state-of-the-art expo centre aimed at transforming the capital into a regional business hub.

Both sides agreed to enhance bilateral trade and investment relations between Islamabad and Sharjah. Chaudhry announced his intention to facilitate a visit by office bearers of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to ICCI, along with organizing B2B meetings and business opportunity conferences to deepen commercial engagement.
The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthen economic cooperation and advance shared objectives of sustainable growth and regional development.
Senior Vice President ICCI Tahir Ayub, Vice President Mohammad Irfan Chaudhry, and former Executive Member Rana Qaisar Shehzad were also present on the occasion.
