Riyadh / Dubai: Saudi-based construction technology company WakeCap Technologies has announced the acquisition of Trackfy, a Brazilian provider of workforce safety and operational tracking solutions, marking its official expansion into Latin America.
The deal strengthens WakeCap’s position as a global leader in sensor-powered project intelligence and control systems, used across some of the world’s most complex construction and industrial projects.
The acquisition not only adds Brazil as WakeCap’s new LATAM headquarters, but also enables the company to extend its services beyond the construction phase — providing data-driven solutions for operations and maintenance, and supporting clients throughout the full lifecycle of industrial assets.
“Trackfy brings both regional expertise and product capabilities that perfectly complement WakeCap’s vision to put workers first, make jobsites safer, and bring clarity to complex construction projects,” said Dr. Hassan Albalawi, Co-Founder and CEO of WakeCap. “This acquisition fuels our next stage of growth as we expand our global footprint and enhance the value we deliver to our customers.”

WakeCap’s expansion comes as Saudi Arabia ramps up its infrastructure investment, with nearly $1 trillion earmarked for construction and urban development under Vision 2030. The company’s ability to bridge Silicon Valley innovation with Saudi-scale delivery — and now Brazilian reach — positions it at the intersection of AI, IoT, and industrial transformation.
Trackfy’s CEO, Tulio Cerviño, said the partnership represents a shared mission to create smarter, safer, and more connected industrial environments.
“Joining forces enables us to scale our technology, expand into new regions, and serve customers across the full lifecycle of industrial projects,” Cerviño said. “This move is more than just an acquisition it’s a step toward building the global standard for smart operations and industrial intelligence.”

Founded in Riyadh, WakeCap has tracked more than 150 million labour hours across US$120 billion worth of active projects worldwide, including Aramco, NEOM, Qiddiya, and King Salman Park, as well as deployments in the UAE, US, Brazil, and Japan.
By combining WakeCap’s construction site visibility with Trackfy’s industrial operations expertise, the company aims to redefine how real-time data drives safety, productivity, and efficiency across the global built environment.
