Dubai, UAE – Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, which opened on Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The exhibition, running from November 4 to 6, brings together over 2,500 exhibitors from across the globe, showcasing innovations in food production, processing, and packaging technologies.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, and several Pakistani exhibitors.
Speaking at the event, Hussain Muhammad highlighted that 11 Pakistani companies are participating under the umbrella of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Of these, seven represent the food packaging and processing sector, while four belong to the food ingredients industry. The exhibitors are showcasing a wide range of products and services, including food ingredients, processing and packaging machinery, printing and labelling solutions, and supply chain technologies aimed at the global food and beverage sector.

“The Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition provides an excellent platform for Pakistani firms to connect with international buyers, explore new markets, and expand their export footprint,” the Consul General said. He added that Dubai’s role as a global trade hub offers unique opportunities for Pakistani businesses to strengthen their international presence.
Ali Zeb Khan noted that the Commercial Section of the Consulate had extended full facilitation and support to ensure effective participation of Pakistani exhibitors at the event.

The Pakistan Pavilion reflects the country’s growing focus on innovation, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions in the food manufacturing and processing industries, aligning with the broader global shift towards efficiency and quality in the sector.
