Dubai: In a move that embodies Dubai’s dynamic and wellness-driven spirit, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has launched a special initiative at Dubai International Airport, greeting travelers with a unique passport stamp inspired by the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30.

The custom-designed stamp, featuring the challenge’s logo, celebrates the emirate’s ongoing commitment to promoting fitness, health, and happiness among residents and visitors alike.

The initiative comes as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an annual citywide movement inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, to make physical activity an essential part of everyday life.

Symbol of Dubai’s Vitality
Brigadier Faisal Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Assistant Director General for the Air Ports Sector at GDRFA Dubai, said the special stamp reflects Dubai’s message to the world — that movement and vitality are central to its identity.

“Through the 30×30 Fitness Challenge stamp, we celebrate the spirit of Dubai — a city that never stops moving,” he said. “This initiative reflects our commitment at GDRFA Dubai to supporting the leadership’s vision of instilling a culture of healthy living, not only within our local community but also through the experience of every traveler arriving or departing from Dubai International Airport.”

Brigadier Al Nuaimi added that GDRFA Dubai’s participation in community initiatives extends beyond institutional engagement, underscoring its dedication to serving people and strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a global hub of innovation, wellness, and quality of life.

Marking a City of Movement
The special 30×30 Fitness Challenge stamp serves as a symbolic gesture connecting sports, health, and hospitality — leaving travelers with a lasting reminder of Dubai’s energetic and forward-thinking character.

As millions pass through Dubai International Airport during the fitness challenge, each stamped passport becomes a small emblem of the city’s drive to be the most active and dynamic city in the world.
