Dubai, UAE: Sobha Furniture, the latest venture from the renowned Sobha Group, made a powerful debut at Downtown Design 2025, introducing a bold new era of large-scale, design-led furniture manufacturing in the UAE.
Positioning itself as a game-changer in the regional furniture industry, Sobha Furniture has unveiled over 73,000 square metres of fully integrated, Industry 4.0-enabled facilities across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its 53,000 sqm flagship plant in Dubai Industrial City the largest of its kind in the region—sets a new standard for precision, material control, and production capability.
Guided by a Milan-based design studio, Sobha Furniture ensures that international design excellence drives every product crafted in the UAE.
“We are not entering a market. We are redefining it,” said Anuj Jain, CEO of Sobha Furniture. “There has long been a gap between design ambition and manufacturing capability in this region. Sobha Furniture was created to close that gap and deliver world-class solutions for developers, architects, and designers right here in the UAE.”

Legacy Meets Modern Innovation
The launch was inaugurated by PNC Menon, Founder of Sobha Group, whose entrepreneurial journey began nearly five decades ago as an interior decorator. “My journey began with bringing complete interior visions to life, where bespoke furniture was central,” said Menon. “Sobha Furniture revives that passion for craftsmanship, but now at an advanced industrial scale our legacy of detail, crafted for the world.”
A Booth That Embodies Design Precision
At Downtown Design 2025, Sobha Furniture’s booth stood out as a masterclass in precision and calm sophistication. Designed as a structured environment, it invited visitors to explore the interplay of material, proportion, and function.

The exhibit featured a luxurious Kitchen and a Walk-In Closet, both exemplifying the brand’s signature balance of craftsmanship and innovation. The closet combined gunmetal aluminium framing with rich walnut and ambient lighting, while the kitchen showcased a dramatic Taj Mahal Quartzite island paired with walnut cabinetry and metal accents.
At the booth’s centre, an artistic installation titled “The Elements” united wood, metal, texture, and tone reflecting Sobha Furniture’s philosophy that every detail is intentional.
Thought Leadership Through Design Talks
As part of the brand’s debut, Sobha Furniture hosted Design Talks on November 6 and 7, led by Carlo Magistretti, Chief Strategic Advisor, and Vincenzo Vinci, Chief Design Officer. The sessions explored themes of design responsibility, material intention, and the evolving role of advanced manufacturing in shaping contemporary interiors.

With its launch, Sobha Furniture not only reinforces the UAE’s growing influence in global design and manufacturing but also marks the beginning of a new chapter where world-class furniture is made in the UAE, for the world.
