Dubai, UAE – Geneva Tourism, in collaboration with the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), took centre stage at Dubai Watch Week 2025, presenting a refined display of the Swiss city’s celebrated watchmaking legacy and its appeal as a global travel destination.

The GPHG travelling exhibition drew steady crowds as it unveiled this year’s award-winning timepieces, including the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix winner, the Breguet Classique Souscription, and Fam Al Hut’s avant-garde Möbius. The collection offered visitors a close look at the precision, artistry and innovation that underpin contemporary horology in Geneva.

“Geneva is a city where artistry and precision converge,” said Adrien Genier, CEO of Geneva Tourism. “Presenting our watchmaking mastery in Dubai offered a glimpse of a city that inspires creativity, celebrates craftsmanship, and embodies timeless sophistication.”

Raymond Loretan, President of the GPHG, described the exhibition as a platform that brings together experts and enthusiasts alike. “Presenting these exceptional creations at Dubai Watch Week highlights not only the global resonance of Geneva’s horological heritage but also Dubai’s role as a dynamic centre for culture, innovation and refined taste,” he said.

The GPHG, widely regarded as the most prestigious celebration of modern watchmaking, continues to champion the industry’s finest creators and maisons. Geneva remains home to some of the world’s most renowned brands, including Patek Philippe, Rolex and Vacheron Constantin, along with a thriving scene of independent watchmakers who balance tradition with cutting-edge design.

Beyond its watchmaking prowess, Geneva promoted its cultural and lifestyle offerings during the event, highlighting its museums, lakeside promenades, vineyards and tranquil green spaces. The city’s luxury appeal — from high-end boutiques to artisan workshops — was also showcased, along with a diverse culinary scene that ranges from Michelin-starred dining to beloved Swiss classics.

The presence of the GPHG travelling exhibition at Dubai Watch Week underlined Geneva’s position as a capital of horological excellence and as a destination where craftsmanship, culture and understated elegance meet.

The showcase served as an invitation for visitors to discover a city shaped by creativity and authenticity — and one that continues to leave a lasting impression on travellers and collectors alike.
