Dubai, UAE – The labour community in Dubai enjoyed a vibrant day of sports and camaraderie as the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai hosted its ‘Sports for All’ event, marking the conclusion of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30.
The event drew participation from workers representing various companies and nationalities across the emirate. The atmosphere turned festive as participants competed in a series of sporting activities designed to promote health, teamwork and community spirit.

Senior GDRFA officials, including Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Assistant Director General of GDRFA Dubai, and Colonel Omar Matar Al Muzainah, Assistant Director of the Labor Regulation Sector, attended the gathering. Their participation in the running race alongside workers added energy to the event and was widely appreciated by attendees.
Competitions were held in multiple categories such as running, football, tennis and basketball. Winners were honoured with trophies and prizes, presented by GDRFA officials in recognition of their enthusiasm and athletic performance.

GDRFA said the Sports Day was organized to reinforce a healthy workplace culture and encourage workers to adopt active lifestyles. Officials noted that the initiative aligns with the Dubai Government’s ‘Health for All’ mission, offering workers a refreshing and motivating break from daily routines while strengthening bonds within the community.
