News DeskDubai: Global Village, the region’s leading multicultural family destination, is set to ring in 2026 with a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration on Wednesday, December 31, featuring its signature experience, ‘Seven New Year Celebrations in One Night’.
The festivities will offer visitors the chance to welcome the New Year across seven countries in a single evening, marked by live DJ entertainment, multiple countdowns, and a series of fireworks and drone shows — all included in the standard entry ticket.
The seven countdowns will follow different international time zones, beginning with China at 8pm, followed by Thailand at 9pm, Bangladesh at 10pm, India at 10.30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, Dubai at midnight, and Turkey at 1am. Each countdown will be accompanied by choreographed fireworks and drone displays, creating a unique, globe-spanning celebration unlike any other in the UAE.
Beyond the countdowns, Global Village will offer a full evening of attractions and experiences for families. Guests can explore 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, browse over 3,500 retail outlets, and enjoy more than 250 dining options from around the world. Popular zones such as the Floating Market, Happiness Street, Fiesta Street and the Dessert District will add to the festive atmosphere.
Visitors can also enjoy more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval, along with new attractions including Dragon Kingdom, Gardens of the World and The Little Wonderers, catering especially to younger guests.
On New Year’s Eve, Global Village’s three gates will operate with extended hours from 4pm until 2am. The destination said the multi-country celebration reflects its commitment to bringing people together through shared cultural experiences, reinforcing its message of creating “A More Wonderful World” for guests of all ages.
