Abu Dhabi, UAE – Saadiyat Nights, Abu Dhabi’s flagship open-air concert series, will usher in the new year with a special performance by Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys on December 31, organisers announced.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter and pianist will return to Saadiyat Island following her sold-out appearance at the venue in 2024, marking one of the headline events of the Saadiyat Nights 2025–2026 season.
A 17-time Grammy Award winner, Keys has been a defining figure in contemporary music for more than two decades. Since the release of her debut album Songs in A Minor in 2001, she has sold more than 65 million records worldwide and amassed billions of streams. Her career includes some of the most recognisable songs of the past 25 years, such as No One, Empire State of Mind and Girl on Fire, alongside numerous accolades, including being named the RIAA’s No.1 certified female R&B artist of the millennium.
For her New Year’s Eve performance, Keys is expected to deliver a selection of her best-known hits and piano-led ballads, showcasing the soulful sound and emotional depth that have defined her live shows. Her performances are widely regarded for their vocal power and close connection with audiences, qualities that have made her a global touring favourite.
Keys joins an international line-up announced for the Saadiyat Nights season, which includes Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi on January 10, Lewis Capaldi on January 17, John Mayer on January 24, Max Richter on January 29, Ricky Martin on January 31, Mariah Carey on February 7 and Bryan Adams on February 11. Additional artists are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Saadiyat Nights has established itself as a major fixture on Abu Dhabi’s cultural calendar, attracting global music stars and large audiences to the emirate’s Saadiyat Island.
