Dubai, UAE – The UAE’s love affair with comfort food reached new heights in 2025, as talabat UAE revealed some of the most surprising food and grocery ordering trends that shaped how residents ate, drank and shopped throughout the year.
Leading the charts were burgers, with UAE customers ordering more than 47 million burgers on the talabat app, reaffirming the nation’s enduring appetite for the classic favourite.
However, the biggest surprise of the year came in the form of the Mini Cheese Pizza, which emerged as the most-ordered food item of 2025, recording over 1.3 million orders. Small in size but big in popularity, the simple cheese-topped favourite claimed the title of the UAE’s most loved comfort food.

Coffee lovers also made their preferences clear. The Iced Americano topped the beverage charts as the most-ordered coffee on talabat UAE, while matcha lattes followed closely behind, reflecting the growing popularity of healthier and specialty coffee choices among residents.
Grocery trends revealed an equally strong demand for traditional staples. Laban ranked among the most-ordered grocery items of the year, with more than 620,000 orders placed via talabat mart, highlighting the enduring popularity of the chilled yogurt-based drink across households in the country.

The 2025 data paints a vivid picture of evolving food habits in the UAE — a blend of global favourites, rising health-conscious choices and timeless local staples — reinforcing the nation’s position as one of the region’s most dynamic and digitally driven food delivery markets.
