Dubai, UAE – The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai), in collaboration with the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs in Dubai, will host a special New Year celebration for the emirate’s workforce for the third consecutive year, reaffirming Dubai’s commitment to recognising the vital role of workers in the nation’s development.
The event, aligned with the objectives of the Year of Community, will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person festivities with virtual participation through the Blue Connect digital platform. Workers across Dubai will be able to join the celebrations either at designated venues or online via live streaming and interactive services offered through the application.
The Blue Connect platform allows workers to register free of charge, access event activities, follow live broadcasts and engage digitally, providing what organisers describe as a seamless and inclusive experience.

Lt. Gen.
