Dubai, UAE – Dubai Humanitarian has once again partnered with ThinkSmart, a PR and production company, and YallaGive, a digital fundraising platform, to launch a community-driven humanitarian initiative in conjunction with the Dubai Marathon 2026. The collaboration aims to encourage marathon participants and the wider community to run, raise awareness, and contribute to humanitarian causes through collective action.

For the second consecutive year, the initiative invites runners, supporters, and community members to leverage the Dubai Marathon as a platform for humanitarian advocacy. Participants can either run to raise awareness or donate directly through YallaGive, transforming sporting participation into tangible humanitarian impact.

Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, highlighted the importance of community engagement in humanitarian work. “At Dubai Humanitarian, we believe that meaningful humanitarian impact starts with people coming together around a shared purpose. For the second year in a row, the Dubai Marathon provides a powerful platform to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and engage the community in humanitarian action,” he said, expressing gratitude to ThinkSmart, YallaGive, and all partners involved.

As part of the initiative, 15 non-profit organizations based in the Dubai Humanitarian free zone will participate in the marathon. The collaboration aims to amplify outreach, inspire public participation, and foster a spirit of collective action at the beginning of 2026.

Lina Husri, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ThinkSmart, emphasized the role of community engagement and digital storytelling. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to engaging Dubai communities, from creators to influencers, as a force for good. We aim to reach new communities this year and shine a light on humanitarian causes, where community-driven content and engagement can create real positive impact,” she said.

Nabil Boubker, Managing Director of YallaGive, noted the role of technology in enabling generosity. “By empowering communities with the right tools, generosity can be transformed into real impact. This collaboration demonstrates how sport and digital platforms can mobilize collective action, making it easy and transparent for the public to support 15 vital organizations and turn every step into meaningful support,” he said.

Through this initiative, Dubai Humanitarian and its partners continue to harness the power of sport, community, and digital innovation to support humanitarian efforts worldwide.
