Dubai, UAE – Khansaheb Group has acquired ANABEEB, a leading UAE-based industrial pipe manufacturer, from EMSTEEL Building Materials PJSC (ADX: EMSTEEL), in a move that significantly strengthens the group’s end-to-end infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities.

The acquisition brings into the Khansaheb portfolio one of the region’s most advanced pipe production operations, including the largest CC-GRP (Centrifugally Cast Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipe manufacturing facility in the Middle East. The deal marks a major step in Khansaheb Group’s long-term strategy to expand its industrial base and support large-scale infrastructure development across the UAE and wider GCC.

With more than 90 years of history, Khansaheb Group has evolved from its roots in civil engineering into a diversified, fourth-generation family-owned business operating across construction, facilities management, industrial solutions, property services, luxury contracting, aviation safety training, healthcare partnerships, and sustainability initiatives.

ANABEEB’s integration adds significant industrial scale to this ecosystem. The company manufactures CC-GRP pipes, PVC-U pipes and fittings, LD-PE pipes for drip irrigation systems, and multi-wall paper sacks for building materials. Its products serve critical infrastructure networks spanning water, wastewater, and industrial applications.

The manufacturing facility operates four production lines with a designed annual capacity of 33,000 metric tonnes, positioning Khansaheb to combine in-house manufacturing strength with its established construction, engineering, and facilities management expertise.

Commenting on the acquisition, Abdulrahman Khansaheb, Managing Director of Khansaheb Group, said the move reinforces the group’s role in supporting the UAE’s development ambitions. “The introduction of ANABEEB strengthens our end-to-end infrastructure capabilities and reinforces our position as a regional leader in delivering advanced solutions,” he said. He added that the new subsidiary would enable the group to provide advanced piping and infrastructure solutions backed by the same standards of quality, innovation, and reliability associated with Khansaheb’s core businesses.

From the seller’s side, Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL, said the transaction aligns with EMSTEEL’s strategy to optimise its portfolio and focus on core industrial priorities. He expressed confidence that ANABEEB would continue to grow under Khansaheb Group’s ownership and long-term infrastructure vision.

Industry observers see the acquisition as part of a broader trend of vertical integration in the construction and infrastructure sector, where major contractors are expanding into manufacturing to improve supply chain control, efficiency, and sustainability outcomes.

As ANABEEB becomes fully integrated, it is expected to play a central role in supporting major infrastructure projects and advancing sustainable development initiatives across the region, further cementing Khansaheb Group’s position as a key player in the UAE’s built environment.
