Riyadh: elm, a leading provider of digital solutions and information technology services in Saudi Arabia, has received the Institutional Excellence Award in Occupational Health and Safety for Large and Mega Enterprises 2025. The honour was presented during the Labour Award, a national initiative launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The recognition follows elm’s achievement of 100 per cent compliance with the requirements set by the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, reflecting the company’s commitment to implementing the highest national standards in workplace safety.
Majid bin Saad Al Arifi, Official Spokesman and CEO Vice President of the Marketing Sector at elm, described the Labour Award as one of the Kingdom’s most significant national initiatives, aimed at recognising leading private sector organisations and encouraging best practices in work environments. He noted that elm’s full compliance with occupational safety and health regulations underscores the company’s strong adherence to approved standards and its ongoing commitment to protecting the wellbeing of its workforce.
Al Arifi added that the achievement is the result of sustained efforts by elm’s teams to adopt global best practices and strengthen a culture of safety across the organisation, with the Corporate Planning & Enablement Group playing a key role. He also highlighted the active participation of employees in evaluation and survey processes, which contributed significantly to the company’s success in securing the award.
The company’s focus on building a safe and motivating workplace aligns with the objectives of the National Strategic Program of Safety and Occupational Health, which aims to enhance safety standards across sectors and promote a culture of prevention in private-sector organisations.
The recognition reflects an integrated institutional effort across elm, with various teams working to reinforce compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, increase internal awareness, and establish precise systems and processes. An internal communications campaign implemented in September 2025 also played an important role in qualifying the company for the national competition.
The achievement further demonstrates the trust and appreciation elm has earned from government partners, as well as the alignment of strategic goals between both sides. This collaboration has supported efficient project implementation and continuous support across all stages. elm affirmed that it will continue advancing its efforts to embed occupational safety and health standards as a core component of its organisational culture.
