Dubai: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, visited the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, where he was received by Consul General Hussain Muhammad.
During the visit, the Minister held a meeting with consulate officers to discuss issues related to the welfare and facilitation of Pakistani nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates. The discussions focused on improving services and addressing challenges faced by the overseas Pakistani community.

Highlighting the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to its citizens abroad, Chaudhry Salik Hussain outlined several key initiatives aimed at safeguarding and enhancing the welfare of Pakistanis seeking employment overseas. He underscored the importance of pre-departure training and the development of soft skills to better equip workers for international job markets.
The Minister also noted that the Ministry is supporting the establishment of credible and reputable training institutions to provide skills development in sectors with high employment potential, ensuring that Pakistani workers remain competitive globally.

As part of his visit, the Federal Minister toured various sections of the Consulate and reviewed the delivery of consular services. He assessed facilities related to passport issuance, national identity cards, community welfare, and other public facilitation services, emphasizing the need for efficiency and improved service standards for overseas Pakistanis.
