Dubai, UAE – Brighton College Dubai proudly celebrated the success of its fourth Brighton College Junior Golf Open, held on Sunday, February 1st at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Building on the momentum of previous editions, the tournament once again showcased the exceptional talent, bringing together 45 young golfers from across the UAE, including eight pupils from Brighton College Dubai.
The one-day championship welcomed junior amateur golfers aged 10 to 19 with valid Emirates Golf Federation handicaps and was played in an 18-hole Individual Stroke Play format. Net and Gross divisions were contested across multiple age categories for both boys and girls, ensuring competitive and fair play for all participants.
The 2026 edition saw impressive results across the field, with Brighton College Dubai pupils delivering strong performances. Ralif Nuretdinov claimed the Overall Boys’ Gross title with an outstanding score of 69, while fellow Brighton pupil Jack Severn secured first place in the Boys’ Net Division A (Age 14+) with an excellent net score of 66.
In addition to Brighton pupils’ successes, the event featured competitive Net and Gross winners across boys’ and girls’ divisions, reflecting the strength of the junior golf field in the UAE. The tournament also included popular on-course competitions.
Hosted in partnership with Arabian Ranches Golf Club, the event benefitted from excellent course conditions and professional organisation. A 95% full-course handicap was applied to ensure a fair playing field for all participants.
