News DeskDubai: Savills is pleased to announce that Sonia Mehta, Head of Valuation Compliance Middle East at Savills, has been appointed as a Board Member of the RICS World Regional Board for the Middle East and Africa.
With more than 16 years at Savills Middle East, Sonia brings extensive experience in valuation governance, professional standards and regulatory compliance across regional markets.
In this role, she will work alongside senior industry leaders to support RICS strategic direction across the region, helping to shape standards, professional development and industry engagement in one of the world’s most dynamic real estate markets.
As a Board Member, Sonia will provide input on regional priorities and industry challenges, support the delivery of RICS standards and professional initiatives across the Middle East and Africa, act as a liaison between RICS and regional stakeholders and represent practitioner and industry perspectives at Board level.
This appointment further strengthens Savills relationship with RICS and reinforces the firm’s commitment to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards across the region. It will also provide early insight into emerging standards, policies and industry developments, supporting best practice alignment and collaboration.
