Sharjah: Arada has announced the return of Alsimrah, the largest Ramadan tent in Sharjah, at Aljada following the success of its debut in 2025. The tent will open to visitors from Wednesday, February 18, 2026, offering an immersive experience that celebrates Emirati and Middle Eastern cuisine and culture.

This year, Alsimrah will feature an enhanced dining experience, including a 40-metre-long Iftar buffet priced at AED 220 per person, inclusive of Ramadan beverages, and a Suhoor buffet available for AED 175 per person. Children aged between 7 and 12 years can enjoy the Iftar experience at a reduced rate of AED 110. The venue will also offer a VIP Private Majlis package, designed for up to 12 guests, with a minimum spend of AED 3,500. Special discounted packages are available for corporate clients and groups of 15 or more.

The 2026 edition of Alsimrah will be significantly larger, featuring a mezzanine floor and outdoor seating, increasing its capacity to accommodate up to 590 guests. In addition to dining, visitors will be able to enjoy a range of cultural activities, including traditional storytelling sessions, live oud and qanun musical performances, Arabic calligraphy demonstrations, and henna artistry. The venue will also include a decorated prayer area with ablution and washroom facilities, along with valet parking services.

Guests visiting Alsimrah during Ramadan can also benefit from specially curated accommodation packages at Aljada’s Nest Hotel, which opened in December. Room packages start from AED 460 per night and include Iftar or Suhoor at Alsimrah. Guests booking stays of two nights or more will receive an additional 15 percent discount. During Ramadan, visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in raffle draws to win a complimentary night’s stay at Nest Hotel with breakfast.

Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer – Hospitality and Entertainment at Arada, said the concept of Alsimrah is inspired by the Emirati tradition of ‘Simrah,’ where families and friends gather under the moonlit sky. He added that the venue aims to provide a welcoming environment that fosters warmth, connection, and cultural celebration throughout the Holy Month.
